Studio Haul is a logistics support company providing local pickups, deliveries, and on-site assistance. We are not a moving company and do not provide full-service moving, installation, or trade work.
Care of items
We transport items carefully and responsibly; however, Studio Haul is not liable for damage to goods during transport, loading, unloading, or on-site handling. Clients are responsible for ensuring items are properly packaged and ready for transport.
On-site assistance requirement
For large, heavy, or oversized items, appropriate help must be available on site for safe unloading and placement. Studio Haul reserves the right to decline handling items that cannot be safely moved by available personnel.
Helping-hand labour
On-site labour support is subject to availability and project scope. Services are limited to general assistance such as unloading, moving items into place, and basic site support. We do not assemble, mount, hang, install, or perform trade work unless arranged and approved in advance.
White-glove services
Studio Haul does not provide white-glove delivery or installation services.
Waiting & delays
A 15-minute grace period is included for pickups and deliveries. After this time, delays or wait time may result in a $25 additional service charge.
Garbage & packaging removal
Debris, cardboard, and packaging removal is available only when booked as part of helping-hand/install support services. It is not included with standard courier or delivery bookings.
Travel & service area
Base pricing includes travel within the defined service radius. Travel outside this area is billed at the posted per-kilometre rate.
Safety & refusal of service
Studio Haul may refuse or stop service if conditions are unsafe, items are improperly packaged, access is restricted, or handling would risk injury or property damage.
Scheduling & availability
All services are subject to availability. Time windows are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, site readiness, or prior jobs.
Service-based business
Studio Haul provides logistics and labour services. Because time, vehicle use, and scheduling are reserved specifically for each booking, refunds are limited as outlined below.
Cancellations
Completed services
Once a service has been completed, charges are non-refundable. Payment reflects time, vehicle use, travel, and labour provided.
Delays or site readiness issues
If service cannot be completed due to site inaccessibility, lack of required on-site assistance, or items not being ready for transport, charges for time and travel still apply.
Service dissatisfaction
If a client has a concern regarding service, they must notify Studio Haul within 24 hours. We will review the matter in good faith and may, at our discretion, offer a partial credit toward future services. Refunds are not guaranteed.
Damage claims
Studio Haul is not responsible for damage to goods (as outlined in our Terms & Conditions). Any concerns must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
Weather & unforeseen circumstances
In cases of severe weather, road closures, or unforeseen operational issues, Studio Haul reserves the right to reschedule service. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued.
